SPRINGFIELD \u2014 If you enjoy a more intimate music listening session, then two Candlelight concerts at 52 Sumner<\/a> this weekend may be for you.<\/p>\n Live music will be provided by the Listeso String Quartet and the room will be lit by thousands of candles \u2014 electric candles for safety \u2014 on stage and scattered around the venue. <\/p>\n Candlelight, a series of live classical concerts produced by Fever, has two performances in store for Springfield audiences on Saturday.<\/p>\n \u201cCandlelight: Coldplay and Imagine Dragons\u201d begins at 6 p.m., followed by a second concert, \u201cCandlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics\u201d at 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n \u201cOur Coldplay and Imagine Dragons Candlelight show is our most popular right now,\u201d said Alexandra Baker, senior project manager at Fever.<\/p>\n Candlelight has previously held successful concerts at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, with future concert scheduled at the venue.<\/p>\n Angela Park, program director at 52 Sumner, said she and the board of directors are \u201cexcited\u201d to welcome Candlelight Concerts to their venue. <\/p>\n \u201cOur space is known for its warm, intimate atmosphere, making these performances feel more personal and inviting. As an organization, we are committed to providing unique and diverse talent to our community, fostering a deeper appreciation and love for the arts,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Candlelight and 52 Sumner were a perfect match, said Baker, as Fever strives to find diverse and unique spaces for its musicians to perform. <\/p>\n \u201cWhen looking for them, we prioritize architecture, interesting spaces, ideally ones reflecting the community like 52 Sumner and the Basketball Hall of Fame. And when I researched and came across 52 Sumner, it seemed perfect because it was a former church and we do live performance in churches all around the world,\u201d Baker said.<\/p>\n Among the songs to be performed during the daytime program include \u201cClocks, \u201cAdventures of a Lifetime,\u201d \u201cFix You,\u201d \u201cThe Scientist,\u201d \u201cfeelslikeimfallinginlove,\u201d \u201cSky Full of Stars,\u201d and \u201cViva la Vida,\u201d all by Coldplay. Imagine Dragon tunes will include \u201cRadioactive,\u201d \u201cEyes Closed,\u201d \u201cNice to Meet You,\u201d \u201cFollow You,\u201d \u201cBad Liar,\u201d and \u201cBeliever.\u201d<\/p>\n The tentative program for the evening spooktacular includes \u201cThriller\u201d by Michael Jackson, \u201cFuneral March of the Marionette\u201d by Charles Gounod, \u201cTubular Bells\u201d theme by Mike Oldfield from \u201cThe Exorcist,\u201d the \u201cStranger Things\u201d theme song, \u201cBeetlejuice\u201d theme by Danny Elfman, \u201cThe Addams Family\u201d theme by Vic Mizzy, the \u201cHalloween\u201d movie theme by John Carpenter, \u201cPrelude\u201d by Bernard Herrmann from the movie \u201cPsycho,\u201d the \u201cGhostbusters\u201d movie theme by Ray Parker, Jr., \u201cDanse Macabre\u201d by Camille Saint-Saens, \u201cNight on Bald Mountain\u201d by Modest Mussorgsky, and \u201cTime Warp\u201d from \u201cThe Rocky Horror Picture Show\u201d by Richard O\u2019Brien and Richard Hartley. The concert will also highlight a medley of songs by Danny Elfman from \u201cThe Nightmare Before Christmas,\u201d and \u201cString Quartet No. 8 in C Minor (Dresden Quartet ) Op. 110: II.
