Many fans were able to make the connection that she might be releasing a new holiday-themed album soon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On Friday, the former actress finally <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DPonjZ9kRv3\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:announced on Instagram;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">announced on Instagram<\/a> that her rock band, The Pretty Reckless, will be releasing a brand new holiday EP, titled <em>Taylor Momsen\u2019s Pretty Reckless Christmas, <\/em>on Halloween this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The EP is set to have six tracks total \u2014 four original songs and two <em>Grinch <\/em>classics. The lead single, &#8220;Where Are You Christmas?&#8221; is out now on all streaming platforms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;25 years in the making \u2014 &#8216;Where Are You Christmas?&#8217; is OUT NOW! \ud83c\udf84,&#8221; Momsen wrote in her Instagram caption, referring to the fact that <em>How the Grinch Stole Christmas <\/em>was released 25 years ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Momsen started her acting career when she was just three years old, when she appeared in a national commercial for Shake &#8216;n Bake in 1997. In 2000, she played her breakout role of Cindy Lou Who in <em>How the<\/em><em>Grinch Stole Christmas<\/em> alongside Jim Carrey. After playing roles in various TV shows and films such as <em>Hansel and Gretel<\/em>, <em>Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams<\/em>, <em>Saving Shiloh<\/em>, <em>Underdog<\/em>, <em>Paranoid Park<\/em> and <em>Gossip Girl <\/em>from 2002 to 2007, the 32-year-old decided to take a break from acting to focus on her music career.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In 2009, she formed the band The Pretty Reckless, which consists of herself, Ben Phillips, Mark Damon and Jamie Perkins. In August 2010, the band released their debut studio album, <em>Light Me Up,<\/em> and have released four studio albums and multiple EPs since.
