However, more users are starting to get their hands on YouTube Music\u2019s AI host \u2013 and despite the disregard for AI music streaming features in general, the reactions have been pretty positive.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" id=\"elk-seasonal\" href=\"\" data-url=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<aside data-block-type=\"embed\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\" class=\"hawk-root\"\/>\n<p id=\"6bacc1bd-8ad3-4471-85e2-9282442711eb-2\">When <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/audio\/audio-streaming\/spotify\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/audio\/audio-streaming\/spotify\">Spotify <\/a>rolled out AI DJ in 2023, it sparked a huge debate about AI\u2019s presence within music streaming, but was also criticized \u2013 especially for its lack of new music recommendations and jarring voiceover. I was one of those critics, but warmed up to it when <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/audio\/spotify\/i-dismissed-spotifys-ai-dj-for-years-heres-why-im-finally-warming-up-to-the-streaming-giants-most-divisive-feature\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.techradar.com\/audio\/spotify\/i-dismissed-spotifys-ai-dj-for-years-heres-why-im-finally-warming-up-to-the-streaming-giants-most-divisive-feature\">Spotify introduced its song requests feature<\/a>. Rather than segueing from one song to the next, YouTube Music\u2019s AI host injects music trivia into the voiceover \u2013 which is going down well with music nerds.<\/p>\n<p>The most common frustration is its failed attempts at cheesy humor and there are also seemingly some factual inaccuracies (which YouTube has addressed). Others simply hate the concept in general, with Reddit user &#8216;ptrckl_&#8217; stating &#8220;I just wanna listen to my music&#8221;. But overall, most testers have expressed their appreciation for the addition of music facts weaved into their streaming experience.<\/p>\n<p id=\"34e7a5d6-a515-4e0e-bce9-53775f8a1cc9\">Where users complained about Spotify AI DJ being invasive, the opposite is being said about YouTube Music\u2019s AI host. Instead, some have credited it for its natural interjections and unintrusive commentary.
