Jennifer Aniston<\/strong> is ready to hit the Broadway stage!<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I grew up in New York and loved going to the theatre, so I think it\u2019d be fun,\u201d added the Morning Show<\/em> actress, who attended Manhattan\u2019s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, which inspired Fame<\/em>, and starred in few off-Broadway productions in the late 1980s before moving to Hollywood.<\/p>\n

As Globe<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, Aniston was recently inspired to explore the idea of hitting the stage by her old pal George Clooney<\/strong>\u2019s Broadway<\/a> run, according to an insider.<\/p>\n

While spending time in New York City with her new beau<\/a>, Jim Curtis<\/strong>, in early August, the Friends<\/em> alum \u201cmet with producers of already in-the-works shows to see if she can fit something in, even if it\u2019s just a six- or eight-week production next spring,\u201d the insider told Globe<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s cool is that Jen is open to doing a play or a musical,\u201d added the insider, who cautioned, \u201cshe\u2019s only going to say yes if she can find a production that\u2019s the perfect fit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
