Taylor Swift is finally releasing the\u00a0documentary for the Eras Tour. Starting Dec. 12, the musician will premiere the six-part documentary series The End of an Era, exclusively streaming on Disney+. Two episodes of the docuseries will arrive on the premiere date, followed by weekly releases. For the first time, Swift is pulling back the curtain on what her life looked like while completing one of the most ambitious tours in pop history.<\/a><\/p>\n The news was announced today, which just so happened to be Oct. 13, naturally. End of an Era will simultaneously debut with Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, an extended edition of the Eras Tour concert film. When the film first arrived in the midst of the tour, The Tortured Poets Department hadn\u2019t yet been released. Swift later worked the record into her set, which was then captured for this release on the final date in Vancouver.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was the End of an Era, and we knew it,\u201d Swift wrote on Instagram. \u201cWe wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.\u201d<\/p>\n The concert film will feature appearances from Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, and more, including close friends and family who supported Swift during the extensive tour.<\/p>\n On Sunday, Good Morning America teased that it would be revealing \u201cwhat\u2019s next\u201d for Swift in a promo.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s at it again. The day after it was released, it had already sold 2.7 million<\/a> copies in traditional album sales. Meanwhile, that weekend, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl hit Number One at the domestic box office.
