The Strangers: Chapter 2<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Madelaine Petsch<\/strong><\/a> revealed who her favorite horror movie final girl<\/strong> is. Furthermore, the actress believes that \u201ceven a bad horror film is still a good horror film\u201d and she\u2019ll \u201cwatch them all.\u201d<\/p>\n During an interview with People<\/a>, Madelaine Petsch was asked who her favorite horror movie final girl is.<\/p>\n Petsch responded, \u201cI think my favorite is probably Ripley from Alien,\u201d referring to Sigourney Weaver\u2019s role from Ridley Scott\u2019s 1979 sci-fi\/horror film, Alien.<\/p>\n The Riverdale actress shared that she loves shark movies. Furthermore, she named Climax by Gaspar No\u00e9 and Weapons by Zach Cregger as \u201cgreat, sophisticated\u201d horror movies. \u201cI love them all. Even a bad horror film is still a good horror film. If I enjoyed it and it\u2019s a fun ride, that\u2019s all I really care about. I can find good in anything,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n The question is fitting as Petsch is also a part of the final girl trope now. This is thanks to her role in the latest installment, The Strangers: Chapter 2. Petsch first played Maya in The Strangers: Chapter 1. She reprised her role in Chapter 2 and will return in Chapter 3. This will complete the trilogy series. The series serves as a reboot of 2008\u2019s The Strangers. It follows a couple hunted by three masked \u201cstrangers\u201d who are trying to kill them.<\/p>\n Petsch explained in the interview how playing Cheryl Blossom on Riverdale shaped her for the Strangers franchise. The 31-year-old actress said, \u201cThere are so many horror elements in Riverdale. I think I had to do a 15-second scream once on that show.
