Keanu Reeves<\/a> is remembering his \u201cSomething\u2019s Gotta Give<\/a>\u201d co-star Diane Keaton<\/a>, who died Oct. 11 at 79 years old.<\/p>\n

\u201cTotal pro,\u201d Reeves told E! News<\/a> of Keaton<\/a> on Monday at a New York screening of his new film \u201cGood Fortune<\/a>.\u201d \u201cShe was very nice to me. Generous, generous artist and a very special, unique person.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cIt was cool to be able to see her and Jack Nicholson<\/a> together. Just with the history they shared and the way the fondness and love they had for each other. It\u2019s really cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reeves starred in \u201cSomething\u2019s Gotta Give<\/a>\u201d as Julian Mercer<\/a>, a strapping young doctor and a dedicated fan of Keaton\u2019s retired playwrite Erica Barry<\/a>. The two eventually develop a romantic relationship. The 2003 film also stars Jack Nicholson, Amanda Peet<\/a>, Frances McDormand<\/a> and Jon Favreau<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomething\u2019s Gotta Give<\/a>\u201d director Nancy Meyers<\/a> took to Instagram on Monday to pay tribute to Keaton.<\/p>\n
