The Chicago-based company has announced the appointment of Nabil Kazi<\/a> as Executive Vice President of Marketing & Brand Development. The respected marketing and brand strategist previously held roles at The Walt Disney Company<\/a>, 20th Century Fox<\/a>, and Illumination Entertainment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His appointment comes as the company continues to grows its presence in the independent film and production space.<\/p>\n

In its second year of operations, the company is gearing up for a buzzy awards season as the U.S. distributor of Best International Feature Film entries Palestine 36<\/a> by Annemarie Jacir<\/a> (Palestine) and All That\u2019s Left of You<\/a> by Cherien Dabis<\/a> (Jordan).<\/p>\n

The Ali brothers also hold executive producer credits on Tunisia\u2019s entry, the Gaza drama The Voice of Hind Rajab<\/a>, which was produced in association with Watermelon Pictures.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
