Find all the details below.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"post-content-read-more\">\n<li><strong>READ MORE:\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/slipknot-clown-interview-anniversary-tour-new-album-look-outside-your-window-3822347\">Clown talks Slipknot\u2019s 25th anniversary and future: \u201cWe probably have several albums in us right now\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Back in May, guitarist Jim Root said that he had <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/despite-zero-inspiration-slipknot-jim-root-six-finished-arrangements-for-next-album-3865105\">completed \u201csix arrangements\u201d for a new album<\/a>, despite previously claiming that he had\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/guitar.com\/news\/music-news\/jim-root-casts-doubt-on-new-slipknot-music\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cnearly zero inspiration\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The band have yet to release any new material since 2022\u2019s\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/album\/slipknot-the-end-so-far-review-3317936\">\u2018The End So Far\u2019<\/a>, though\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/slipknot-announce-first-song-with-new-drummer-eloy-casagrande-long-may-you-die-3756860\">they teased a new song \u2018Long May You Die\u2019<\/a>, recorded shortly after new drummer Eloy Casagrande joined Slipknot in early 2024. Nothing has come out of that tease so far.<\/p>\n<p>Now, in a new interview, Casagrande has revealed that the band are working on new music.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <em>Drummer\u2019s Review<\/em>, he said: \u201cWe are cooking, we are doing some new music, for sure\u201d. While he didn\u2019t give any specific details, he added: \u201cSince I joined the band, we have been working on some new ideas. We keep exchanging guitar riffs, drum beats, so we are always doing something. We had also some jam sessions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, we have a lot of material right now. We just have to sit and put everything together, start jamming, and it\u2019s happening. It already happened. It\u2019s gonna happen in the future. The album is expected to arrive sometime this year.<\/p>\n<p>Slipknot\u2019s Clown teased that the record is\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/clown-on-soon-to-be-released-look-outside-your-window-its-not-slipknot-at-all-not-even-close-3829158\">\u201cnot even close\u201d to the band\u2019s usual style<\/a>, adding: \u201cIt was never a Slipknot album. Not while it was happening, not while I\u2019ve held onto it for 10 years, and certainly not fuckin\u2019 when it comes out.\u201d So far, only one track from the album has been released: \u2018All Hope Is Gone\u2019 bonus track \u2018Til We Die\u2019.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Slipknot win Best Band In The World at the NME Awards 2020\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kj9rGnu3JFw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Though the record has been slated for many years \u2013 including frontman Corey Taylor, Root and Clown all variously promising its release \u2013 Clown told us\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/slipknot-clown-look-outside-your-window-management-has-it-coming-out-3823025\">that the long-awaited LP was out of his hands and with management for the final steps<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really pleased about it and happy to finally be rid of it,\u201d\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/slipknot-clown-interview-anniversary-tour-new-album-look-outside-your-window-3822347\">he said<\/a>. \u201cWhat\u2019s nice though is that it isn\u2019t a hype thing, it\u2019s just something we did while we were doing other Slipknot albums.
