His latest effort is a collection of stories and original articles covering 40 years of insights and shenanigans.<\/p>\n<p>From the rise of Radiohead to messy times with Oasis, Primal Scream and U2. Bailie documents a passing era of access and friction, critique and acclaim. \u2018The Song is Nearly Over\u2019 is a requiem and an action replay.<\/p>\n<p>Across his legendary career, the Belfast raconteur has contributed to NME, Mojo, Uncut, Q, Vox, The Irish Times, Hot Press and Classic Rock and written books and biographies on Terri Hooley, Van Morrisson, Phil Lynott, and the history of Northern Irish music during the Troubles.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Stuart Bailie is also a co-founder the Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast \u2013 an institution which is the envy of every music hub on the Island of Ireland.
