The Cranberries<\/strong> are back in the Billboard Artist 100 chart<\/a> this week, moving up to the 80th spot; Taylor Swift holds the #1 spot.<\/p>\n The iconic 90s band made its debut on the chart in 2018 \u2014 just 12 days after lead singer Dolores O’Riordan died.<\/strong> At that time, The Cranberries peaked in the #9 spot and stayed on the chart for five weeks.<\/p>\n Best known for the songs “Linger” and “Zombie,” The Cranberries initially rose in popularity in the ’90s. However, the group hadn’t made the Billboard Artist 100 chart until after O’Riordan’s death.<\/p>\n Interestingly, one year after O’Riordan’s death, the group released the song “All Over Now,” which was recorded before O’Riordan died and featured her vocals. The song made the Billboard Airplay chart<\/a>, coming in at No. 25 on the Adult Alternative Songs ranking.<\/p>\n Back on January 15, 2018, O’Riordan was found dead in a bathtub at London’s Park Lane Hilton hotel, according to BBC News<\/a>. The coroner called the death a “tragic accident.” It was later reported that O’Riordan died from drowning due to alcohol intoxication.
