She began by first naming “Cardigan” off Swift’s 2020 Folklore album.<\/p>\n While she couldn’t remember the name of another one of her favorites, McLachlan decided to sing a snippet of the song, which was identified as Swift’s “Cowboy Like Me” from Evermore.<\/p>\n In the video from the interview, uploaded to Instagram earlier this month, McLachlan, 57, can be heard singing the first couple of lines from the song, which include the lyrics, “And the tennis court was covered up \/ With some tent-like thing \/ And you asked me to dance \/ But I said, ‘Dancing is a dangerous game.'”<\/p>\n Many Swifties were left wanting more after seeing the clip, with several Instagram users taking to the comments to ask McLachlan to release an official cover of the alternative indie song.<\/p>\n “She would sound SO GOOD singing Cowboy Like Me!!
