Kevin Federline<\/strong> shares a terrifying claim about ex-wife Britney Spears<\/strong> in his new memoir, via The New York Times<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n When they were younger, Federline claims his and Spears\u2019 sons, Sean Preston<\/strong>, 20, and Jayden James<\/strong>, 19, described their mother\u2019s erratic behavior and told him they didn\u2019t want to stay at her house, the former dancer, 48, explains in the book<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThey would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep \u2014 \u2018Oh, you\u2019re awake?\u2019 \u2014 with a knife in her hand,\u201d K-Fed writes. \u201cThen she\u2019d turn around and pad off without explanation.\u201d<\/p>\n Federine \u2014 who told the New York Times<\/em> in a story published on Tuesday, October 14 \u2014 that he hadn\u2019t spoken to his ex-wife \u201cin years,\u201d was awarded custody of the boys<\/a> in October 2007, a few months before the very public meltdown that would lead to the pop star, 43, being placed under a controversial conservatorship.<\/p>\n The conservatorship ended in 2021, but the \u201cToxic\u201d singer revealed in an August 24 Instagram post that she had been \u201ccut off from calling or texting\u201d the boys for three years, which she called \u201cthe hardest of my life.<\/a>\u201d<\/p>\n Spears, who infamously alarmed fans in 2023 when she posted a video of herself dancing with knives on Instagram<\/a>, finally reunited with Jayden last December.<\/p>\n \u201cBest Christmas of my life!!!\u201d she wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cTears of joy and literally in shock.\u201d<\/p>\n Federline\u2019s memoir, You Thought You Knew<\/em><\/a>, will be released on Tuesday, October 21.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/staging.starmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2025-10-14-at-1.57.10-PM.png\")
