Bill Simmons<\/strong><\/a> could not resist having some fun at the expense of Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s apparent girth during the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 appearance on Sunday Night Football<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n Kelce, 36, is the presumed subject of an eyebrow-raising song on his fianc\u00e9e Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2019s new album, The Life of a Showgirl<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a little bit of a deep cut on the Taylor Swift album,\u201d Simmons, the founder of The Ringer<\/i>, explained Monday, October 13, on his mega-popular \u201cThe Bill Simmons Podcast.\u201d<\/a> \u201cBut it was a very controversial song on the album called \u2018Wood,\u2019 which people thought was about Travis Kelce\u2019s healthy manhood.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Simmons, 56, said the song led to plenty of fodder while watching the Chiefs\u2019 primetime game against the Detroit Lions<\/a> on Sunday, October 12.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Taylor Swift Says Racy \u2018Wood\u2019 Lyrics Began in \u2018Very Innocent Place\u2019: \u2018I Don\u2019t Know What Happened\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWe were just calling him Wood the whole game,\u201d he joked. \u201cAnd it was very enjoyable. He should just be Travis \u2018Wood\u2019 Kelce. \u2018I mean, you see why Taylor\u2019s smiling. Wood\u2019s just getting it done.\u2019 Just call him Wood. It\u2019s positive! Just praising him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Swift, 35, has not publicly confirmed that \u201cWood\u201d is about Kelce, but it\u2019s not difficult to read between the lines when dissecting the lyrics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSeems to be that you and me, we make our own luck \/ New heights of manhood,\u201d Swift says on the track, an assumed reference to the podcast Kelce cohosts with his older brother, Jason Kelce<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Swift also sings, \u201cRedwood tree, it ain\u2019t hard to see \/ His love was the key that opened my thighs.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While Simmons delighted in the lyrical content of \u201cWood,\u201d diehard Swiftie and Barstool Sports founder, Dave Portnoy<\/strong>, didn\u2019t quite get the same satisfaction<\/a> out of the song.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s about Travis\u2019 d***?\u201d Portnoy questioned in a video posted via Instagram on October 3. \u201cAnd then you re-listen and it\u2019s all, \u2018Redwood tree\u2019 and \u2018I knew he had a big *** and hard rock and I have to catch the bouquet.\u2019 No. No. I\u2019m not bobbing and weaving and jamming to a song about Travis\u2019 d***.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Travis and Jason, 37, addressed the lyrical content of \u201cWood\u201d<\/a> on the October 8 episode of \u201cNew Heights.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
