Many felt her messaging that pivoted from self-reliance to musing about matrimony was promoting \u201ctradwife\u201d agenda. <\/p>\n Swift appeared on BBC Radio 2\u2019s \u201cThe Scott Mills Breakfast Show\u201d and addressed some of the concerns when host Scott Mills asked if the new project is her \u201clast.\u201d The singer said the idea that marriage would mark the end of her career was \u201ca shockingly offensive thing to say,\u201d and added, \u201cit\u2019s not why people get married, so they can quit their job.\u201d<\/p>\n The album hit a historic 4 million in sales in one week.
