Cardi B <\/a>doesn\u2019t play when it comes to her kids.<\/p>\n The Grammy-winning rapper is on the cover of the latest issue of PAPER<\/a> on Tuesday (Oct. 14), and she explained in her cover story why she has a zero-tolerance policy for any sort of negativity surrounding her three (soon-to-be four) children.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThis week I showed the world that I will get the most nasty about mine. I never had to get that nasty for my kids. But I did, and I really feel like a lioness,\u201d she said. \u201cThis has been one of the moments I got tested the most about being a parent. But it just goes to show me how strong I am, and it just goes to show me like, Damn, I will really take it to hell for mines: mentally, physically, anything. And I wouldn\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bronx native appears to be referencing her vicious feud with Nicki Minaj,<\/a> which became a nasty back-and-forth on social media earlier this month that ended up seeing both artists insulting each other\u2019s children.<\/p>\n Separately, Cardi also dissed BIA <\/a>on her Am I the Drama? album cut \u201cPretty & Petty.\u201d \u201cName five BIA songs, gun pointin\u2019 to your head\/ Baow, I\u2019m dead,\u201d she raps before referring to her as \u201cdiarrhea BIA\u201d later in the song.<\/p>\n Cardi explained on The Breakfast Club<\/a> that she felt compelled to respond to BIA after the \u201cWhole Lotta Money\u201d rapper name-dropped Cardi\u2019s kids on her \u201cSUE MEEE?\u201d <\/a>diss track last year.<\/p>\n \u201cYou mentioned my kids tryna be cute,\u201d Cardi said. \u201cShe did her little diss and it was trash\u2026 I could\u2019ve [left] it at that, but everything on social media is gonna be seen. When my kids grow up one day and they see that you mentioned them, they\u2019re gonna ask me, \u2018So what you said? What you did [in response]?\u2019 I\u2019m not gonna tell my kids, \u2018I felt like she took the high road cause she lost, cause people wasn\u2019t on her side.\u2019 Naw, I\u2019m not sayin\u2019 that to my kids.
