Amy Robach<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and T.J. Holmes<\/span><\/a><\/strong> are more than ready to plan a magical wedding after announcing their engagement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey threw a small private party with their closest friends and family, and they told people they are engaged and going to get married,\u201d a source exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i>. \u201cAnd there will be a wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have wanted to be very private about it,\u201d added the source.<\/p>\n

According to the insider, the bride- and groom-to-be\u2019s big day would be a \u201csmall and intimate\u201d celebration with no more than 100 people.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFormer Good Morning America cohosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes\u2019 romance made headlines in November 2022 when the TV personalities \u2014 both then married to other people \u2014 were photographed getting cozy on various outings throughout the month. The journalists\u2019 relationship \u201cblossomed from a close friendship,\u201d a source exclusively told Us Weekly after the photos [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Although a wedding date has yet to be revealed, both Robach, 52, and Holmes, 48, are aiming for 2026, and there are talks about making the ceremony a destination event.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would be more about sharing their vows and love,\u201d the source explained. \u201cAnd they do plan on inviting their exes.\u201d (Us<\/i> has reached out to Robach and Holmes\u2019 reps for comment.)<\/p>\n

News broke of the former GMA3<\/i> cohosts\u2019 relationship<\/span><\/a> in late 2022, while Robach and Holmes were married to Andrew Shue<\/strong> and Marilee Fiebig<\/strong>, respectively.<\/p>\n

In a surprise twist few saw coming, a source later confirmed to Us<\/i> that Shue and Fiebig were also dating. In February, the pair took a big step in their relationship by moving in together<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Holmes and Robach\u2019s excitement about the future is also authentic. Before getting engaged, the pair were able to build a modern, blended family with their kids from previous relationships.<\/p>\n

Robach shares daughters Ava and Annalise with her first husband, Tim McIntosh<\/strong>. Meanwhile, Holmes shares Brianna and Jaiden with his first wife, Amy Ferson<\/strong>, and daughter Sabine with Fiebig.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir kids are happy and are supportive,\u201d the source told Us<\/i> of the kids\u2019 reaction to their parents\u2019 engagement. \u201c[T.J. and Amy] want to spend their lives together and see themselves as each others\u2019 forever. While Robach previously sported a promise ring at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards in March, she confirmed on the Tuesday, October 14, episode of iHeartRadio\u2019s \u201cAmy and T.J.<\/span><\/a>\u201d podcast that her engagement happened one month ago.<\/p>\n

A source added that Holmes is hard at work making his future wife a custom wedding ring.<\/p>\n

Back in June, a source exclusively shared with Us<\/i><\/span><\/a> that an engagement is \u201ccoming\u201d and has \u201cbeen in the works for awhile.\u201d The insider also predicted that an announcement would come on the couple\u2019s podcast \u201cwhen the time is right.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for why the couple chose to wait before announcing their news to the world, Holmes explained that they wanted just a few people to know about their impending nuptials for a short period of time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe might share some more details about how it all went down and all that, but we\u2019ve just been celebrating with family really for the past month or so,\u201d Holmes shared. \u201cWe wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to. We\u2019ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n
