Jennifer Aniston<\/strong> may have hosted Saturday Night Live twice during her long Hollywood career, however, she had turned it down the first time she was asked \u2014 long before her Friends fame.<\/p>\n The Morning Show star, 56, recalled what went down during the Monday, October 13 episode of Dax Shepard<\/strong>\u2019s Armchair Expert podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI always thought I was such hot s**t. The story of that is all very confusing,\u201d she said. \u201cI remember I was in New York City<\/a> and I had a meeting with [SNL creator] Lorne Michaels<\/strong>. I ran into [Adam<\/strong>] Sandler<\/strong> and [David<\/strong>] Spade<\/strong> in the room right outside. And I knew Sandler forever.\u201d<\/p>\n Shepard, 50, wondered if she was pals with Sandler, 59, before scoring the role of Rachel Green on NBC\u2019s Friends in 1994.<\/p>\n \u201cYes, he was very good friends with Charlie Schlatter<\/strong>, who played Ferris Bueller in the television version of Ferris Bueller\u2019s Day Off,\u201d Aniston said. \u201cSo, we met at Jerry\u2019s Deli in, like, 1912.\u201d<\/p>\n Eric Kowalsky \/ MEGA<\/span><\/p>\n Aniston had first appeared on the single season TV series based on the 1986 John Hughes<\/strong> film of the same name in 1990.<\/p>\n The Along Came Polly actress<\/a> dished that she first felt that the late-night comedy sketch show was somewhat misogynistic.\u00a0 \u201cI don\u2019t know why I had this self-righteous attitude of, \u2018I don\u2019t know if women are treated the way they should be treated on this show.\u2019 It\u2019s a very male-dominated [show], I would love to be here if it was in the Gilda Radner<\/strong> day,\u201d she added. \u201cThis is the brain that semi-remembers things that are back that far. Something like that. I can\u2019t remember, but I just remember Friends then happened.\u201d<\/p>\n Friends ran until 2004 across 10 seasons, with Aniston finally hosting SNL twice during its run.
