The celebrated musician has announced that a six-part docuseries will be released on Disney+ this winter, allowing fans to see their favorite artist in a more unfiltered light. However, that’s not all because Swift is feeling generous and wants her Swifties to feel the love as she teases something truly special.<\/p>\n
On X, the ‘Folklore’ singer uploaded the trailer for the upcoming project and noted that not one, but two titles will be arriving on December 12 on the aforementioned streaming platform. According to Disney+, the docuseries, titled The End of an Era, and the concert film, The Eras Tour: The Final Show, are going to capture the magic of Swift’s record-breaking musical journey. Meanwhile, the multi-Grammy-winning artist noted that she and her team wanted to “preserve” every moment of this journey, and that’s the reason why they allowed filmmakers to document the tour.<\/p>\n
She wrote, “It was the End of an Era, and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”<\/p>\n
Moreover, the trailer revealed that the concert film will include the full Tourtured Poets Department set. This is not the first time Swift has announced a collaboration with Disney+. In 2023, the singer came forward with the documentary Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which went on to become the highest-grossing concert film of all time.<\/p>\n
