While talking on The Director\u2019s Cut Podcast (via Men\u2019s Xp), Nolan called Dwayne Johnson<\/a>\u2019s performance as Mark Kerr<\/a> in A24<\/a>\u2019s The Smashing Machine<\/a> the best performance of this year, as of now.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s heartbreaking. I think it\u2019s an incredible performance. I don\u2019t think you\u2019ll see a better performance this year.<\/p>\n
