From private haunts to year-long costume builds, here are three Halloween splurges that only celebrities can afford<\/a>.<\/p>\n Buying a horror movie ticket is one thing. Bringing Hollywood to your doorstep to scare your spouse is another.<\/p>\n Kourtney Kardashian recently took husband Travis Barker to see \u201cBlack Phone 2\u201d and had a huge surprise waiting for him when they returned, per People<\/a>. While they were gone, she had Universal Studios create a \u201cscare zone\u201d outside their California home featuring elements of the film. Over the years, she\u2019s had plenty of over-the-top looks, including a worm that took over 10 hours to build around her on the day of her Halloween party<\/a> and a werewolf that took six hours to assemble pre-party, People<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n In 2024, Klum became E.T., boasting a costume build that took a full year and a team of 30 FX artists led by prosthetic makeup artist Mike Marino to design, per Vogue<\/a>. From 3D-printed parts and molded foam latex to animatronics and airbrushing, the E.T. costume took seven hours to build around her.<\/p>\n And the tradition continues.
