Two busy parents raising multiple children together already is not the easiest mission, but that journey is intensified even more when both parties are high-profile celebrities. Kim Kardashian is dishing on what co-parenting has really been like<\/a> with Ye, and she admits it\u2019s been far from \u201ceasy.\u201d<\/p>\n During her recent sit-down with Call Her Daddy, the reality TV star-turned entrepreneur was asked several hard-hitting questions that her fans have been dying to know the answers to. When host Alex Cooper asked about the current status between her and her ex-husband, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, she broke down the details from her side.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not easy. I mean, I raise the kids full-time. They live with me. I welcome a great healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. He knows that. I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when it\u2019s time for that, and it goes in waves and phases,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n Kardashian emphasized that maintaining a paternal presence in their kids\u2019 lives was important to her because of how she feels about her own late father. She went on, \u201cI have the best memories and the best relationship with my dad,\u201d while mentioning Tristan Thompson \u2014 the father of her sister Khloe\u2019s kids \u2014 is a present dad despite their past challenges. \u201cSo I just welcome healthy relationships, but it\u2019s not easy.\u201d<\/p>\n The former couple <\/a>shares four children: North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6). The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star reportedly previously considered pursuing sole custody <\/a>of the children after Ye put North West on a song with Diddy earlier this year.<\/p>\n When asked the last time West saw their kids, Kardashian revealed, \u201cWhenever he\u2019ll call for them and ask. It\u2019s probably been a couple months since we\u2019ve heard from him.\u201d She also explained that the kids are aware their father has a \u201cbig life traveling and touring\u201d and that he lives in different countries, so they manage it \u201creally well\u201d because the kids love their current life and routine. Kim says her job as their mom is to help them stick to their routine while remaining healthy and happy.<\/p>\n The SKIMS founder<\/a> mentioned the only thing that bothers her is the ongoing narrative that she \u201ckeeps the kids away\u201d from their father, which she claims she \u201cnever\u201d has done. \u201cThere\u2019s been so many times I just want to show all these texts, like what are you talking about?\u2026 I will always let them see their father\u2026 I send them to Saudi Arabia, Italy, Japan, and I\u2019ve never once denied it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n VIBE has reached out to West\u2019s team for comment.<\/p>\n The West family dynamic has been on public display not solely due to the parents\u2019 celebrity status, but also because of the Graduation rapper\u2019s frequent rants about their divorce and co-parenting journey.
