It offers a 10-core GPU architecture with a Neural Accelerator in each core &#8211; the end result, we\u2019re assured, being that GPU-based AI workloads run \u201cdramatically faster\u201d, with four times the peak GPU compute performance of the M4.<\/p>\n<aside data-component-name=\"Recirculation:ArticleRiver\" data-recirculation-type=\"inline\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Trending Bar\" data-nosnippet=\"\" class=\"clear-both pt-3 pb-4 mb-4 border-solid border-y border-neutral-300\">\n<span class=\"font-article-heading block pb-3 !text-base font-bold uppercase sm:text-sm text-[#333]\"><br \/>\nYou may like<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The CPU, meanwhile, also has up to 10 cores (six efficiency cores and four performance cores), resulting in up to 15% faster multithreaded performance in comparison to the M4.<\/p>\n<p>How much musicans will actually notice all of this is open to question. While heavyweight graphics users and AI aficionados may be drooling at these speed bumps, it remains to be seen how much of an impact they\u2019ll have when you\u2019re simply trying to make a tune in Logic Pro.<\/p>\n<p>Apple certainly isn\u2019t hanging about in fitting the M5 to its computing hardware, though &#8211; you\u2019ll find it in both the 11- and 13-inch iPad Pros, with prices starting at $\/\u00a3999 and $\/\u00a31,299 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of cost, this makes it very much a laptop replacement device, but if you\u2019d rather have the real deal, the entry-level M5 MacBook Pro 14-inch costs from $\/\u00a31,599.
