And just like that, Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> is making her Saturday Night Live <\/em>hosting debut in just a few days.<\/p>\n And ahead of the episode helmed by the pop star, Carpenter stars in a hilarious promo video posted Wednesday (Oct. 15), in which she channels Sex and the City\u2019s<\/em> Carrie Bradshaw. With her hair in bouncy curls that rival Sarah Jessica Parker\u2019s in the iconic TV show, the singer struts through 30 Rock while smiling at her own inner monologue.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cNew York is one big apple, and I\u2019m taking my bite at Saturday Night Live<\/em>,\u201d she says in a voice-over before sitting down to \u201ctype\u201d on a computer that isn\u2019t even turned on: \u201cThe woman wondered what she had gotten herself into. Having won over the cast and crew \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n While walking through the halls of the studio, she spots Marcello Hernandez. \u201cThank God, it\u2019s Mr. Big!\u201d she cheers as the confused cast member says, \u201cHey, uh, it\u2019s actually Marcello \u2026 but I\u2019ll take it.\u201d<\/p>\n Carpenter\u2019s hosting debut will premiere this Saturday (Oct. 18). The Grammy winner will also serve as musical guest on the episode.<\/p>\n And while she\u2019s never helmed an episode of SNL<\/em> before, Carpenter is no stranger to the show.
