The country artist was scheduled to perform the concert on Thursday, Oct. 16, as part of his 2025 High and Alive World Tour, but given the doctor’s orders, he has been \u201cplaced on complete vocal rest\u201d and is unable to take the stage due to illness at this time.<\/p>\n The official Facebook page of the Bon Secours Wellness Arena <\/a>released a statement<\/a> on Wednesday, Oct. 15, telling folks that Urban has been battling \u201claryngitis, which began earlier this week.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cKeith Urban has been advised by his longtime laryngologist, Dr. Gaelyn Garrett<\/strong>, from the Vanderbilt Voice Center, to cancel his performance in Greenville, SC tomorrow night at Bon Secours Wellness Arena due to laryngitis which began earlier this week,\u201d the statement reads alongside a promotional tour poster featuring Urban\u2019s shadow as he plays guitar amid a sunset backdrop. \u201cHe has been placed on complete vocal rest and Dr. Garrett is optimistic that he will be back onstage for his Nashville show.\u201d<\/p>\n Urban\u2019s Nashville concert is set to take place on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Bridgestone Arena, which means his doctor anticipates a smooth and swift recovery over the next two days.<\/p>\n The four-time Grammy winner and country superstar, 57, who recently separated from Nicole Kidman<\/strong>, had not shared a post on his official social media pages regarding the canceled show, but he did release a statement to his fans telling them that he hopes to return to Greenville soon.<\/p>\n \u201cHey Greenville, I\u2019m so SO sorry to have to cancel the show\u2026I know all the logistics it takes to get to a concert these days, and I\u2019ve never taken any of that, or any of YOU, for granted,\u201d Urban shared. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to getting back there when we can!!!!!”<\/p>\n In addition to announcing his concert cancellation, the Bon Secours Wellness Arena provided some direction for ticketholders of the Greenville show on where they can expect a refund.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically; there is nothing further ticket holders need to do,\u201d the statement on the arena\u2019s Facebook page reads. \u201cIf you purchased from a third-party reseller, please reach out to your point of purchase.<\/p>\n Urban\u2019s High & Alive World Tour kicked off on May 22 in Orange Beach, Ala.
