Love Jones<\/a><\/em> stars Nia Long and Larenz Tate are headlining a new romantic drama for Netflix.<\/p>\n Sylvie\u2019s Love<\/a><\/em> director Eugene Ashe will direct from a script he co-wrote with This Is Us<\/em> writer and producer Kay Oyegun.<\/p>\n The currently untitled film is inspired by Maxwell\u2019s debut album, Maxwell\u2019s Urban Hang Suite.<\/p>\n However, the storyline is being kept close to the chest. If you are a fan of the album, your mind might be spinning with possibilities. Two singles from the album include \u201cAscension (Don\u2019t Ever Wonder)\u201d and \u201cSumthin\u2019 Sumthin\u2019.\u201d Both songs are about freely giving and accepting love, so maybe the film will have the same easy-going feeling as these two songs.<\/p>\n Tate and Long are executive producing with MACRO Film Studios\u2019 James Lopez, Charles D. King and Poppy Hanks. Maxwell also executive produces with John D. Hammond.<\/p>\n Tate and Long can also be seen in the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic Michael<\/a><\/em>, directed by Antoine Fuqua.
