The Bosch <\/em>universe is continuing to expand, with Omari Hardwick<\/a> and Cameron Monaghan set to star in an upcoming prequel series.<\/p>\n Set at the Amazon-owned MGM+, the Prime Video universe has yet another addition with the upcoming Bosch: Start of Watch. <\/em>Production is set to begin in Los Angeles in 2026. The news comes just as another Bosch <\/em>spinoff, Ballard, <\/em>just got renewed for Season 2 at Prime Video<\/a>.<\/p>\n The series stars Monaghan as rookie cop Harry Bosch and Omari Hardwick as veteran officer Eli Bridges.\u201d<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the description:<\/p>\n Based on Michael Connelly\u2019s best-selling book series that also spawned Prime Video\u2019s hit franchise, Bosch: Start of Watch takes viewers back to 1991 Los Angeles, following 26-year-old Harry Bosch during his earliest days as a rookie cop. The series will explore a city on the edge, teeming with racial tension, gang violence, and a fractured LAPD. Amid routine calls and growing unrest, Bosch finds himself drawn into a high-profile heist and a web of criminal corruption that will test his loyalty to the badge and shape his future as the detective who lives by the code, \u201cEverybody counts or nobody counts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The series is produced by Fabel Entertainment, and co-created and executive produced by Tom Bernardo and Brian Anthony.
