The Abbott Elementary<\/strong> cast had an unforgettable experience while filming at Citizens Bank Park for the Philadelphia Phillies<\/strong> game. During the shoot for their new episode \u201cBallgame,\u201d the cast and crew filmed scenes in the middle of a real Phillies game, the same one which saw Phillies\u2019s left fielder Kyle Schwarber make history by hitting four home runs.<\/p>\n The Abbott Elementary cast and crew filmed scenes during a live Philadelphia Phillies game against the Atlanta Braves. Show creator and star Quinta Brunson, who grew up in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, said filming in her hometown was both exciting and unpredictable.<\/p>\n On Entertainment Tonight<\/a> she said, \u201cYou work with what you get and we happened to get four home runs.\u201d Brunson added, \u201cWe did two days with 500 extras before the game. And then the day of the game, we had those extras with us still but then everyone who bought tickets to the game.\u201d She joked that the incredible timing felt scripted. \u201cIt\u2019s almost like we wrote it but we didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n Tyler James Williams, who plays Gregory Eddie, called the experience \u201cinsane.\u201d He said, \u201cKyle Schwarber hits four home runs.
