Jennifer Lopez<\/strong>\u00a0has talked about the importance of being a present mom to her kids. The singer recently sat down for an interview with SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cThe Howard Stern Show.\u201d During the conversation, she opened up about her struggles as a parent. Additionally, Lopez recalled having a life-changing conversation with her children, Max and Emme, during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n On \u201cThe Howard Stern Show,\u201d Jennifer Lopez talked about not being present for her kids, Maximilian \u201cMax\u201d David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. As per\u00a0PEOPLE<\/a>, the 56-year-old talked about the time when she had to \u201cstay home\u201d with the kids during the COVID-19 pandemic. She stated, \u201cThey spoke to me, [and] they\u2019re like, \u2018You\u2019re not a regular mom. You\u2019re not here every day. You don\u2019t drop us off and pick us up [like the other parents].\u201d<\/p>\n The singer added, \u201cI realized how much they needed me there.\u201d Lopez claimed that being a single parent pushed her to work more to provide for her children. However, she discovered \u201cit wasn\u2019t just about me giving them a great life.\u201d The diva stated that her twins were accustomed to seeing her working, so when the pandemic started, she got to stay with her family and realized that she needed to spend more time with them.<\/p>\n Lopez further explained that she \u201crealized how much they needed\u201d her there with them. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t just about me giving them a great life. It was about me being there for them all the time,\u201d the actor said. She then went on to recall the conversation with the kids as a \u201cwake-up call\u201d as she learned to reject some projects.
