LANY are Soft<\/em>-launching across the world. Rolling Stone<\/em> can exclusively announce that LANY will embark on a world tour next year, including an arena run in the United States to celebrate their latest album, Soft<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe love making records, we live to tour them, and the reaction to Soift<\/em> has already exceeded our expectations,\u201d Paul and Jake of LANY tell Rolling Stone. <\/em>\u201cTo write an album from such a vulnerable place and see fans around the world immediately connect with it is surreal. The group will also play in Mexico City in early May. They then head on the European and U.K. leg of the tour, starting in Oslo, Norway, on May 13, before the trek continues on through early June.<\/p>\n Before the U.S. run, the band will also play Lollapalooza festivals in India, Chile, and Argentina, including a one-off show in Dubai on Jan. 23.<\/p>\n Fans can register for artist presale access, which allows folks to purchase tickets starting Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. local time through Oct. 23 at 10 p.m. local time. General on-sale tickets will go live on Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. local time.<\/p>\n LANY dropped Soft<\/em>, the duo\u2019s sixth album, last Friday, featuring the single \u201cKnow You Naked,\u201d and songs like \u201cGood Parts, \u201cLast Forever,\u201d and \u201cSound of Rain.\u201d The new album comes after Klein survived a near-fatal car accident last summer.<\/p>\n \u201cI have a very new perspective on life now,\u201d singer Paul Klein\u00a0told\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>\u00a0last October. \u201cIt sounds weird to say, but I\u2019ve had the best summer of my entire life, and it\u2019s been mainly spent on a lawn chair right there, reading and slowing down. If I hadn\u2019t been hit by a car, I wouldn\u2019t have had the summer that I had to slow down and process things.
