Praising Jon Favreau for his unmatched directorial skills, White said, \u201cYou know, it\u2019s funny, I met Jon Favreau, who directed the film and the series prior, and I\u2019ve been such a huge fan of Jon\u2019s for a very long time, and so we talked about movies and I asked about Swingers. And he said, &#8216;Would you like to come in and maybe talk to me about doing a voiceover for Star Wars?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201c[I said] &#8216;I love Star Wars, I\u2019d be so happy to,&#8217; and then, in the moment, almost, I discovered the weight of the character I was voicing,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Interestingly, The Mandalorian &amp; Grogu marks Rotta\u2019s live-action debut; previously, appearing only in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The film also stars Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian, Sigourney Weaver as Ward, and Jonny Coyne as Imperial Warlord, among others.
