After learning Prince Louis<\/a><\/strong>, 7, was a fan of stashing conkers\u2014or horse chestnuts\u2014all over his family\u2019s home, officials from World Conker Championships officials recently offered Prince William<\/a><\/strong> and Kate Middleton<\/a><\/strong>‘s youngest a role as the competition’s honorary patron. Ultimately, though, Louis won’t be taking his of conkers into an official capacity.<\/p>\n

“We really appreciate the invite,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson said in a statement to The Telegraph<\/a> <\/em>Oct. 15, “but currently Prince Louis is ‘conker-trating’ on his studies.”<\/p>\n

Kate\u2014who also shares kids Prince George<\/strong><\/a>, 12, and Princess Charlotte<\/a><\/strong>, 10, with William\u2014had revealed Louis’ passion for conkers during a conversation last month with Chief Scout of the Scout Association Dwayne Fields<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“We keep finding conkers in cupboards, in his bed,” the 43-year old, co-president of the Scout Association said to him Sept. 18, PA Media<\/a> reported, “conkers everywhere.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
