A shakeup in the streaming world. Two rivals are now joining forces.<\/p>\n

Apple TV and Peacock announced a bundle merging the two streamers.<\/p>\n

\u201cStarting October 20, get Apple TV and Peacock together for one great price,\u201d Apple TV posted on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no more perfect combination of entertainment than the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle, with our complementary content portfolios featuring the best shows, movies, sports, and live events,\u201d said Matt Strauss, chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group. \u201cWith this first-of-its-kind initiative with Apple, we\u2019re redefining what the customer journey should be for a streaming bundle with rich sampling and a smooth sign-up process, and we\u2019re broadening the reach of Peacock to even more audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

The premium bundle costs $14.99 a month, while the premium plus is $19.99 a month. Apple One subscribers on the Family and Premier plans can subscribe to Peacock Premium Plus and receive a 35% discount.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to introduce this all-inclusive bundle of incredible programming and to bring Apple TV\u2019s beloved shows and movies to more viewers in more places,\u201d said Oliver Schusser, Apple\u2019s vice president of Apple TV, Apple Music, Sports and Beats. \u201cFrom acclaimed originals to can\u2019t-miss live sports, the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle unites the best of entertainment in a simple and seamless experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

This comes after Apple TV quietly removed the plus from its name in a rebrand attempt.<\/p>\n

\u201cApple TV+ is now simply Apple TV, with a vibrant new identity,\u201d the brand said in a press release announcing \u201cF1\u201d is headed to streaming on Dec. 12. \u201cAhead of its global streaming debut on Apple TV, the film continues to be available for purchase on participating digital platforms, including the Apple TV app, Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home and more.\u201d<\/p>\n
