Jacob Elordi<\/a> is opening up about how he took his \u201csuffering\u201d while filming an earlier project to help him prepare for his role as Frankenstein<\/a> in Guillermo del Toro<\/a>\u2019s new film.<\/p>\n

During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, the actor described his \u201cgrueling\u201d experience shooting Prime Video\u2019s The Narrow Road to the Deep North shortly before Frankenstein, during which he lost a substantial amount of weight for the World War II miniseries.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy brain was kind of all over the place,\u201d Elordi recalled. \u201cI had these moments of great anguish at around 3 a.m. in the morning. I\u2019d wake and my body was in such pain.\u201d<\/p>\n
