Angel Reese<\/a> took her game from the court to the catwalk and made history along the way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Chicago Sky forward became the first professional athlete to walk<\/a> in the Victoria\u2019s Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday, joining the brand\u2019s high-profile \u201cWings Reveal\u201d lineup in New York.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIt was destined for me,\u201d Reese said during an interview before the show began. \u201cThis is already for me. I\u2019m so happy to be sitting in this room with so many amazing models and women. The team that put this all together has been amazing. I\u2019m so excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Reese said she hired a modeling coach to \u201cperfect my walk.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI walk, sleep, hoop,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I hoop, sleep, walk.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Reese, 23, made her debut on the Victoria Secret runway wearing pink floral lingerie set adorned with blossoms and l<\/p>\n<\/div>\n ace detailing, paired with a dramatic feathered stole draped across her arms. The wrap was covered in soft pink and rose-toned textures.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The 6-foot-3 Reese donned the signature angel white wings that have defined the show for decades, a new stage for an athlete known for her confidence, charisma and crossover appeal. She walked to the tune of Lumidee\u2019s \u201cNever Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh.)\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Reese is a former Louisiana State University national champion and NCAA tournament most outstanding player in 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cOne of her biggest dreams was to walk this show,\u201d said celebrity stylist Law Roach<\/a>, a co-host on the pink carpet who helped reinvent Zendaya, turned Celine Dion into a fashion icon and is a close friend to Reese.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWe had a conversation. I told her, \u2018I don\u2019t think that\u2019s a big dream at all.\u2019\u201d Roach said. \u201cAnd for that to happen in a year or less, that she\u2019s walking the show and, I mean, she looks stunning, like the hair, the makeup, her presence, she\u2019s ready, she\u2019s excited.
