Just more than a week after he canceled the rest of his 2025 tour<\/a> to deal with health issues, legendary rock guitarist Ace Frehley has died. <\/p>\n He was 74. <\/p>\n His family announced his death with a statement.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are completely devastated and heartbroken,\u201d it read per Variety.<\/b> \u201cIn his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth. We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. <\/p>\n \u201cThe magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace\u2019s memory will continue to live on forever!\u201d<\/p>\n The rocker, known best for his run with KISS, recently canceled his remaining 2025 tour dates after suffering what were described as \u201cminor injuries\u201d in a fall at his home. <\/p>\n \u201cDue to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates<\/a>,\u201d a statement on his X account read. <\/p>\n Blabbermouth.net reported <\/b><\/a>that the rock star was forced to pull out of the Antelope Valley Fair on doctor\u2019s orders that he avoid traveling so that he could better heal from his injuries.<\/p>\n The outlet reported that Frehley had been touring with a backing band that includes Ryan Spencer on bass, Jeremy Asbrock on guitar and Scot Coogan on drums.<\/p>\n The site said he also told SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cTrunk Nation with Eddie Trunk,\u201d that he was working on \u201cOrigins Vol. 3\u201d which is his sequel to his 2016 and 2020 collections of cover songs that inspired him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
