Similar to her other interviews, Kate spoke about her grief with podcast star Jay Shetty. It has not been disclosed how much the influencer was paid for the appearance.<\/p>\n
She discussed how they first met when she was a waitress in New Jersey up to how she thought she would spend the rest of her life with the star. Kate opened up to Shetty about the moment she heard the news of Liam’s death.<\/p>\n
She was in their shared home in Florida with their dog when she received a call from one of his friends. Kate had been there waiting for him to return home.<\/p>\n
Kate has been earning her keep through various brand collaborations on Instagram and monetized Snapchats. She disclosed that she spent the time leading up to the first anniversary of his death on a sponsored trip to “keep her mind positive” and “busy”.<\/p>\n
In a TikTok video shared this week, Kate opened up about her plans while preparing for her day. She stated: “I am getting ready to go on a trip. I’m obviously transparent and open about my life on social media. I have been for a while now. This week hasn’t been the easiest week and it’s not going to be the easiest week.<\/p>\n
“I have so many mixed emotions and my grief comes in so many waves. No matter what I do, I get commentary so if I make this video, people are going to be like, ‘Of course she had to make this video’, but if I didn’t make this video and just went on a trip, people would be like ‘What is she doing? How is she not in bed crying?'”.<\/p>\n
She continued: “Doing nothing for me and laying in bed and sitting around the house does absolute not good things for my head space. It reminds me of the really dark place I was in last year and I finally am starting to see the light again in life.”<\/p>\n
Kate then revealed that she received an invitation to a “wholesome” brand trip for two nights, with activities such as brunch, pilates, and poolside lounging on the agenda. One of her close friends, who also experienced the loss of a partner, would accompany her on the trip.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
