It was royal business as usual as Kate Middleton and Prince William<\/a> welcomed the Crown Prince Al-Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan to Windsor Castle this week for a royal wedding reunion<\/a> two years since the future king and queen of Jordan said, \u201cI do.\u201d Still, Princess Catherine didn\u2019t miss the opportunity to dress to impress: She reached for a repeat Roland Mouret trouser suit last worn to a royal engagement with Streets of Growth in the fall 0f 2023. But she dressed it up with a tie-neck blouse, not to mention a tried-and-true styling trick.<\/p>\n It\u2019s called the \u201crule of thirds<\/a>,\u201d which is a method for dressing where you break the body into thirds rather than halves as a way to make the overall aesthetic more visually appealing. (When you think about it, the very middle of our bodies is our widest point, so dividing your outfit evenly between top and bottom doesn\u2019t exactly do us any favors.) Princess Catherine nails this stylist-approved technique with a high-waisted trouser and a blazer that nips in at that exact same point.<\/p>\n Of course, we\u2019d be remiss if we didn\u2019t also mention her (mostly) monochromatic look. Combined with the \u201crule of thirds,\u201d the overall vibe makes her stand a little taller\u2014not that she necessarily needs that. (Catherine is 5\u20199\u201d<\/a> and already commands a room.)<\/p>\n As for the royal wedding, which William and Catherine attended together in June 2023<\/a>, it\u2019s staggering to think about how much things have changed since. At the time, the pair was fresh off King Charles\u2019s coronation; it was also before they received the life-altering news of two cancer diagnoses. (First, the king, then the princess.) As a foursome, they certainly have a lot to discuss.<\/p>\n
