For years, Ramona Singer<\/a><\/strong> divided fans on Real Housewives of New York<\/a>. But somehow, this turtle-timing star also landed herself a spot in Friendly Distractions, a newly streaming Tubi movie. However, as this RHONY alum quickly realized, real talent requires actual work. And this type of work was much more taxing than this reality television star ever expected.<\/p>\n On a recent episode of SiriusXM\u2019s Reality Checked<\/a>, host Kiki Monique<\/a> asked Ramona about her recent movie deal. As Ramona explained, this new role fell from the sky and into her lap, courtesy of a chance encounter on an airplane. \u201cI was on a plane, and this man named Adrian Lopez approached me. He said, \u201cI\u2019ve always enjoyed watching you on Housewives, and I\u2019m doing this movie, and I have a small part for you.\u201d<\/p>\n But, apparently, once she met Adrian, he decided that his original plan was not big enough to contain all things Ramnona<\/a>. So, \u201che said, \u2018I\u2019m gonna make this part bigger for you.\u2019 So I have three small speaking parts,\u201d Ramona explained.<\/p>\n Throughout this process, however, Ramona learned that \u201cacting is harder<\/a> than reality TV. Because reality TV, if you have a big personality like I do \u2026 it\u2019s easy for us, but most people don\u2019t. And they need a script, and it\u2019s, I don\u2019t know, it was different,\u201d Ramona did her best to express. As she next added, with acting, \u201cyou have to memorize lines, but I liked it. It was just something out of my element.\u201d<\/p>\n But don\u2019t get too excited (or worried). Ramona does not have much time to further invest in Hollywood.
