Haim haven\u2019t thrown in the towel just yet, with the trio dropping a deluxe edition of their latest album, I Quit<\/a><\/em>, featuring three new songs.<\/p>\n The group teased the expanded LP last week with the release of \u201cTie You Down,\u201d<\/a> a new collaboration with Bon Iver. One of the other songs is \u201cThe Story Of Us,\u201d an uptempo alt-rocker punctuated by a fuzz-bomb chorus: \u201cYou hate that you love me\/You hate that you want me back\/I hate that I love you\/But, baby, it got too sad.\u201d<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n The last song the deluxe edition, \u201cEven the Bad Times,\u201d boasts a similarly frenetic energy, though there\u2019s an uneasy edge to its ringing guitars as Danielle Haim sings, \u201cEvery time that we try\/I know it\u2019s not right, baby\/I fight with you like you are a child\/I feel like a fool\/I could leave like I should, baby\/But I can\u2019t help it, even the bad times were good.\u201d<\/p>\n Haim released I Quit<\/em> back in June, with the album marking their fourth studio effort and first in five years, following 2020\u2019s Women in Music Pt. III<\/a><\/em>. Danielle Haim co-produced the album with frequent collaborator Rostam Batmanglij.<\/p>\n The trio just wrapped a North American tour<\/a> in support of I Quit<\/em>, and they\u2019re set to kick off a U.K. run later this month. Earlier this week, Haim stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em>, where they performed \u201cDown to Be Wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking with Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> earlier this year \u2014 over some homemade vodka cocktails \u2014 Haim dug into the creation of I Quit<\/em><\/a>, the clever paparazzi-inspired marketing<\/a> behind the album, and how a famous scene<\/a> in That Thing You Do<\/a><\/em> inspired the album\u2019s title.
