Megan Moroney surprised fans on Tuesday afternoon with an unannounced pop-up event at La La Land Kind Cafe on 12 South, where she performed songs from her catalog and previewed her upcoming era.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI wanted to come out to the place that really got me started and show you guys some love,\u201d\u00a0said Moroney<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The event drew fans who lined the streets around the coffee shop, many of whom responded to an Instagram announcement earlier Tuesday that revealed the promotion and rallied her Nashville fanbase. She took the stage around 2 p.m., delivering an acoustic rendition of the new single \u201cBeautiful Things,\u201d set for release on Oct. 24, alongside hits including \u201cWonder,\u201d \u201cTennessee Orange,\u201d and \u201cAm I Okay?\u201d before closing with \u201c6 Months Later.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI really loved this album so much and it will always be so special to me, but I’m so excited for you to hear my next album once it comes out and \u201cBeautiful Things\u201d is one of my special songs to me in this next era,\u201d said Moroney.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As part of the experience, Moroney partnered with La La Land to offer fans the chance to write uplifting messages on cup sleeves, which would be passed to future customers \u2014 an effort to spread kindness tied to her messaging beyond music.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI just love the message she’s trying to convey to her fans of kindness\u2026It’s bigger than just her music, and all the meanings behind her songs, it just shows she has a really good character,\u201d said crowd member Bella Bovenzi.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ahead of the show, fans were invited to text \u201cBE KIND\u201d for a chance to meet Moroney, a nod to her track \u201c6 Months Later.\u201d Her recent release of a live version of\u00a0Am I Okay?<\/em>\u00a0also coincided with the event, boosting anticipation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fans traveled from afar to attend. \u201cWe’re from Alabama, so we got ready in like 30 minutes and drove here as fast as we could, so we could see it. It was really fun and we loved it,\u201d said crowd member Taylor Hendrix.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Moroney has steadily risen since her breakout in 2022 with \u201cTennessee Orange,\u201d and has followed up with hits like \u201c6 Months Later,\u201d \u201cI’m Not Pretty,\u201d and \u201cNo Caller ID.\u201d The surprise pop-up underscored her connection with her audience and set the stage for her next chapter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
