TMZ<\/a> broke the news on Friday, October 17, with a source telling the publication that Manganiello gushed over his new fianc\u00e9e while giving a speech at the San Diego International Film Festival the night before. The actor won the Spotlight Award during the Night of the Stars Tribute.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to Manganiello\u2019s rep and O\u2019Connor for comment.<\/p>\n

Engagement rumors started swirling in June after the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> published photos of O\u2019Connor in Sicily with what appeared to be a diamond on her left hand. A source told\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0<\/em>exclusively the following month that the two weren\u2019t gearing up to get married<\/a> just yet \u2014 but hinted that there was a proposal on the way.<\/p>\n

The source told\u00a0Us\u00a0<\/em>that Manganiello, 48, and O\u2019Connor, 36, are \u201cvery strong together and serious about a future.\u201d The couple wants \u201cto have a family,\u201d the insider continued. \u201cShe wants to be a mom, and he\u2019s open to being a father.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manganiello met O\u2019Connor in September 2023 at a post-premiere party for her HBO series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty<\/em>. The duo were spotted leaving in the same car at the time and made their official red carpet debut two months later.<\/p>\n
