In a statement released on September 27, the family confirmed that Bill and Barb Putman and their daughter-in-law Megan had died. On September 29, a truck driver was charged in connection to the accident. \u201cWe know Papa, Neenee and Aunt [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cI come to you with a heavy heart, asking for your prayers. Our family was in a tragic car accident and we lost Papa, Neenee and Aunt Megan,\u201d a September 27 statement shared via the family\u2019s Instagram account read. \u201cThey have gone home to be with the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n
Other members of the family were injured in the crash as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlease keep Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah and Gia in your prayers as they remain in the hospital,\u201d the statement added. \u201cWe are asking for complete healing and strength for each of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reality series followed the Putman family \u2014 Bill Putman and Barbara Putman, their four children, Billy Putman, Brandon Putman, Blake Putman and Blair Putman, their respective spouses and, at the time, 15 grandchildren \u2014 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The statement noted that the entire Putman family \u201cproclaimed that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior,\u201d emphasizing, \u201cHe is our hope, our peace and our salvation. Even in this time of heartbreak, we rest in knowing that God is in control.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know Papa, Neenee and Aunt Megan are not gone forever,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cThey are alive and whole in Heaven, standing before Jesus, hearing the words we all long to hear: \u2018Well done, my good and faithful servant.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The family requested that their followers keep them in their thoughts as they dealt with the aftermath of the fatal accident.<\/p>\n

Days later, the Tuscola County Sheriff\u2019s Office in Michigan confirmed that Pavel B Shchukin<\/strong> \u2014 the truck driver involved in the accident \u2014 was charged<\/a> with three counts of moving violation causing death and five counts of moving violation causing serious impairment of a body function.
