It\u2019s been a three decades since longtime Selena<\/a> fans were blown away by the iconic 1997 biopic starring Jennifer Lopez<\/a>, who took on the role as the Queen of Tejano Music and stunned movie-goers across the globe. <\/p>\n The performance launched Lopez\u2019s career as an actress and established her as a major star while the film solidified Selena as a cultural icon. <\/p>\n Now, Netflix is trying its own hand at honoring the beloved, late Mexican singer. <\/p>\n Through bated breath, the streaming giant has confirmed that an award-winning documentary detailing the life and legacy of the late Selena Quintanilla has finally received a launch date for its debut.<\/p>\n Per its press release<\/a>, \u201cSelena y Los Dinos\u201d will begin streaming on Nov. 17. <\/p>\n Directed by Isabel Castro, the much-anticipated documentary provides an intimate view into the singer\u2019s life and ventures deeper into the connections she created with her bandmates, which included her siblings A.B.
