In Guillermo del Toro<\/a>\u2019s reimagining of \u201cFrankenstein<\/a>,\u201d Isaac<\/a> takes on the role of Victor Frankenstein, describing his performance as unexpectedly pleasurable despite the character\u2019s darkness. He even admitted to del Toro that he was concerned by how much he was enjoying portraying a man consumed by rage and obsession.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t expect that playing this character was going to be so fun and joyful,\u201d Isaac says during the Variety Awards Circuit Podcast. \u201cI mean, some dark stuff.
