The Blumhouse horror movie, which stars Mason Thames<\/a> and Madeleine McGraw<\/a> opposite Ethan Hawke<\/a> as The Grabber, is a sequel to 2022’s The Black Phone<\/a>. The original was a smash success, grossing $161.4 million against a reported $16 million budget.<\/p>\n

Per Deadline, Black Phone 2<\/a> took in $2.6 million during its Thursday night previews in domestic theaters. The movie is now projected to gross a 3-day domestic total between $20 and $30 million by the end of its opening weekend.<\/p>\n
