TikTok comedian Steve Bridges<\/strong> has died at age 41<\/a>, his wife, Chelsey<\/strong>, confirmed in a video posted to Steve\u2019s Instagram<\/a> account on Friday, October 17.<\/p>\n

Chelsey told followers that she found the comic dead on their couch on Wednesday, October 15, and that he died \u201cpeacefully in his sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWho you saw online was just the characters that he created,\u201d she said. \u201cHe was so talented because he was the opposite of all of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was the most attentive father, and the best, the best husband,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd the greatest, sweetest man. And thanks to you, internet, he\u2019s been able to live his dream of making people laugh. I am so thankful that he got to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steve and Chelsey were married for 16 years and shared three children, a 14-year-old daughter and 10-year-old twin boys. The Peoria Police Department told TMZ<\/em><\/a> they believe he died from natural causes.<\/p>\n

Chelsey was a frequent guest on Steve\u2019s social media<\/a> channels, where he rose to fame thanks to his POV skits, parodying common everyday people and situations. His characters ranged from a solar panel salesman to a child at a public pool. Between TikTok and Instagram<\/a>, he had more than 2 million followers.<\/p>\n

Chelsey added that Steve had been working on his diet and fitness because three of his family members had died young. His grandmother died in her sleep at age 52, while his father and grandfather both died in their 40s.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to tell my children that they can\u2019t grieve online,\u201d Chelsey continued. \u201cI will probably grieve online too. This is life now. Please never take it for granted and try to live your dreams every day. Love your family and take care of yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n
