PASADENA, Calif. (AP) \u2014 Alley Mills has won her second career Daytime Emmy award as guest performer in a daytime drama.<\/p>\n
Mills was honored Friday for her role as Heather Webber on ABC’s \u201cGeneral Hospital.\u201d The 74-year-old, who first won in 2023, is best known for playing the mom on \u201cThe Wonder Years.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe’re living in really dark times right now. Everything’s crazy,\u201d Mills told the audience at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. \u201cWe just got to keep our spirits high.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d picked up a second win for its writing team.<\/p>\n
First-time nominee Susan Walters of \u201cThe Young and the Restless\u201d won supporting actress honors.<\/p>\n
\u201cI’m so happy that I won so I can thank my husband of 40 years,\u201d she said, singling out Linden Ashby, who has appeared on \u201cY&R.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Young and the Restless\u201d brought a leading 19 nominations into the 52nd annual show. It is just one of three shows nominated for best daytime drama, along with \u201cGeneral Hospital\u201d and \u201cDays of Our Lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
