These comedians were vying for the chance to win $2,500 cash and an opportunity to connect with this year&#8217;s celebrity judges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">These celebrity judges include people who are running or part of prestigious comedy events. Charlie Sotelo, SXSW Comedy and celebrity judge, said, &#8220;To see comedians of such high caliber, at the top of their game in competition with each other&#8230; it makes it all worth it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">Comedians included:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"mb-4\">\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\"\/>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\"\/>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\"\/>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\"\/>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\"\/>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\"\/>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\"\/>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\"\/><\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The winner of Comedy Prize was Peter Revello a Staten Island-born stand-up, actor and writer living in NYC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Revello said, \u201cThank you to Prize Fest and all the other comics. This is really cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Kalea McNeill was the host for Comedy Prize and is Prize alumni. She left audience laughing and anxious for the next comedian to take center stage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Comedy Prize kicked off the second night of Prize Fest &#8212; a five-night festival in downtown Shreveport that celebrates film, food, comedy and music.
