Big Brother\u2019s<\/em><\/a> Matt Hardeman<\/strong> and Makensy Manbeck<\/strong> have officially called it quits.<\/p>\n

Makensy, 23, confirmed the couple\u2019s break up via Instagram Story<\/a> post on Friday, October 17.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be very open with y\u2019all, just as I\u2019ve been over the past year while sharing my life. Matt and I are no longer together. And I want to make it 100% clear, no one cheated. We are normal people who spent great time together that sadly came to an end,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

As well as insisting there was no infidelity to blame, Makensy assured her followers that her feelings for Matt, 26, were real throughout their romance.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBig Brother\u2019s Matt Hardeman and Makensy Manbeck are more than happy to spread the love. Less than four months after season 26 of CBS\u2019 hit reality show wrapped, two of the show\u2019s former contestants \u2014 who are now dating \u2014 can\u2019t help but celebrate fellow houseguests Tucker Des Lauriers and Rubina Bernabe\u2019s relationship. \u201cI think [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI loved Matt very much, and I still do. He is a big part of my life. I am truly grateful that God crossed our paths, even if it wasn\u2019t for forever. I know many of you were invested in us, and I can\u2019t thank you enough for your support through the past year,\u201d the reality TV alum continued.<\/p>\n

Makensy asked for kindness as she prepares to navigate the next stage of her life following the split and attempts to heal from the pain.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll I ask moving forward is that you continue to support and please be kind. I loved him and our relationship deeply, and this will be a long road of healing for me. I will do my best to stay present with y\u2019all through it all though,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Concluding the post, Makensy wrote, \u201cThank you for your understanding and for always supporting me. Love y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Makensy and Matt first connected inside the Season 26 Big Brother<\/em> house before hard-launching their relationship<\/a> via social media in December 2024.<\/p>\n

Posting to her Instagram, Makensy shared a loved-up photo of Matt kissing her cheek and publicly confirmed the pair were an item.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn case the soft launches weren\u2019t enough, here\u2019s a hard launch\u263a\ufe0f\ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffc\u201d she captioned the post.<\/p>\n

The following month, Makensy exclusively shared an update on their relationship<\/a> during an interview with Us Weekly.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMatt\u2019s in Atlanta and I am moving to Atlanta,\u201d Makensy told Us<\/em> in January. \u201cI\u2019m so, so excited. A lot of people are like, \u2018Why didn\u2019t you drag him to Texas?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Well guys, I really like Atlanta.\u2019 I actually grew up here for 10 years so I really like it here. I love the community that he\u2019s built here and I think it\u2019s just time for me to have a little change and I want to be close to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIt\u2019s tough to win Big Brother without some sort of alliance \u2014 but it\u2019s even more difficult if you\u2019re one half of a showmance. However, that doesn\u2019t stop competitors, time and time again, from pairing up while in the house. \u201cThe secret no one knows about Big Brother \u2014 I think it\u2019s really a marriage [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Makensy also shared how she and Matt had bonded over common interests and values, including their shared faith.<\/p>\n
